I have chosen to specialized in 14th and 15th century ceramics. Which are the most important and collectable ceramics that China has produced. The 14th and 15th century ceramics reached artistic levels that have yet to be equaled. My primary areas of collecting was 15th century Chenghua, Xuande and Yuan Dynasty 14th century. These periods are the easiest to identify by color because of the imported sumali / smalt cobalt with its very distinct brilliant, vibrant blue color with a blackish tone. This color cannot be duplicated because the Sumali / Smalt cobalt has not been available since the end of 15th century.
